Certified Medical Assistant - Granite State Internal Med

Who you are:

As a Certified Medical Assistant for the Granite State Internal Medicine Clinic, you are the first impression for our patients/families. Your empathy and compassion are evident as your care for our patients and you take pride in a job well done. You are a consummate team player and always available to make a difference in our patient's experience.

What you'll do:

• Chart Prep & Pre Loading of New Patient Charts:

• Pre-visit planning:

o Ensure all information is ready and available for provider

o Check Immunization Schedule and ascertain what is due

• Assists the care team with patient examinations and procedures.

o EKGs

o Immunizations

o Ear Lavage

o POC Testing

o Other duties as assigned

• Work with Pharmacy on prescription authorizations and refills

• Supplies: ordering, inventory, and stocking

• Monthly Medication Room checks and equipment checks

What you'll bring:

• Graduate from an approved Medical Assistant Program.

• CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) is highly preferred

o If not certified, you have six (6) months upon hire to complete.

• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) is required

• 1+ years' experience as a MA in an outpatient setting is preferred
