You are skilled in performing cleaning tasks and understand the importance of meeting health and safety standards. You take pride in ensuring that all areas, including patient rooms, operating rooms, and public spaces, are properly cleaned and well-maintained.
What You'll Do:
- Perform daily terminal cleaning of Operating/C-section rooms after each use, meeting all AORN standards.
- Clean OR prep and scrub areas daily.
- Strip, wash, and make beds after patient discharge.
- Disinfect wheelchairs, stretchers, and other equipment.
- Move furniture to clean and replace it in the proper location.
- Complete window, wall, and blind cleaning.
- Stock carts and supplies for work areas.
- Maintain equipment in clean, safe, and orderly condition.
- Refill and replenish soap, toilet paper, paper towel, and paper cup dispensers.
- Complete the daily Environmental Control checklist for assigned areas and discharge list.
- Report any broken, missing, or faulty equipment/materials to the Director.
- Maintain accuracy of the Bed Status Maintenance screen.
- Clean hazardous spills as needed throughout the facility.
What You'll Bring:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
