What You'll Do

  • Cleaning & Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning and sanitation tasks in various areas, including floors, restrooms, and common areas, ensuring that all areas meet cleanliness and hygiene standards.
  • Equipment Operation: Use cleaning equipment and supplies safely and efficiently, including vacuums, floor buffers, and cleaning agents.
  • Waste Management: Collect and dispose of waste and recyclable materials according to environmental and safety regulations.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow all safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment and prevent accidents or injuries.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting any needs or issues to the supervisor.
  • Inspection: Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify areas that require additional cleaning or maintenance.
  • Reporting: Report any maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
  • Support: Assist with special cleaning projects or tasks as directed by the supervisor, including deep cleaning or preparation for events.


What You Bring

  • Experience: Previous experience in a custodial or environmental services role is preferred, but not required.
  • Skills: Ability to operate cleaning equipment and use cleaning chemicals safely. Basic knowledge of sanitation procedures and safety protocols.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong focus on cleanliness and detail, ensuring that all areas are thoroughly cleaned and maintained.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Communication: Good communication skills to interact with team members, supervisors, and other staff members effectively.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to work flexible hours or shifts, as required, and adapt to changing tasks or priorities.
