What You Will Do:

  • Advanced Patient Care: Provide high-quality patient care by assisting with more complex activities such as medication administration under the supervision of an RN or LPN, wound care, and specialized treatments.
  • Leadership and Training: Mentor and train new or less experienced LNAs, offering guidance and sharing best practices to promote a cohesive and skilled team.
  • Assessment and Reporting: Perform more advanced observations and assessments of patient conditions, identifying and reporting changes or concerns to the nursing staff in a timely manner.
  • Coordination: Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring that all aspects of patient care are addressed effectively.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed and accurate records of patient care, including observations, interventions, and responses to treatment, in compliance with facility protocols.


Infection Control and Safety: Uphold stringent infection control measures and safety protocols to ensure a clean, safe, and healthy environment for patients and staff

What You Bring:

  • Certification: Current state licensure or certification as a Nursing Assistant, with advanced certification or specialized training preferred.
  • Experience: Several years of experience as a Nursing Assistant, including experience in a clinical or long-term care setting.
  • Skills: Advanced clinical skills, strong leadership abilities, and proficiency in handling complex patient care tasks.
  • Compassion and Communication: Exceptional communication skills, a patient-centered approach, and the ability to provide compassionate care.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to various patient needs and changing work conditions while maintaining a high standard of care.
  • Teamwork: Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and mentor others.
