Paramedic - Emergency Department

Hours- 36 week - 7PM -7AM

To respond to requests by the nursing staff or Physician staff assisting with emergency care within the Emergency Department according to protocols and polices approved by the Emergency Department Medical Director, and CMC hospital policy. Performs other duties related to the provision of care as assigned after appropriate training. Carries out functions consistent with total quality management.

Education:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Paramedicine.


Experience:

  • A minimum of two years pre-hospital EMS experience at the paramedic level preferred. Demonstrates competence as a paramedic and has a commitment to continuing professional development. Each applicant will be assessed individually.


Licensure/ Certification:

  • Current licensure with the State of New Hampshire as an EMT-Paramedic, or National Registered Paramedic with the capability to become New Hampshire licensed within 30 days.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
  • Pediatric Advance Life Support (PALS) certification required.
