RN, Valve Clinic Coordinator - New England Heart & Vascular

The Valve Clinic Coordinator (VCC), RN, serves as an integral member of the health care team to provide care for patients with valvular heart disease. The VCC directs and coordinates the planning, monitoring, and evaluation of the quality and appropriateness of valvular care. The VCC collects all potential patient data from various sources such as; echo alert, PCP, cardiologists, community outreach, and etc. The VCC conducts the retrospective echocardiogram and medical records review and orchestrates clinic visits with appropriate health care team members. General direction is from Department Director, who holds the employee responsible for the achievement on desired goals and outcome data.

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

• BSN Required.

Experience:

• Minimum of three years recent clinical experience.

• Experienced in cardiology/Cath lab preferred.

• Clinical research experience preferred. Cardiac Nursing Certification preferred.

Licensure/Certification:

• Current registration in the State of NH as a Registered Nurse.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
