What You'll Do:
- Serve as the first point of contact for patients, responding to inquiries through various channels (phone, email, fax, portal, EMR messaging).
- Manage outbound calls to assist with patient scheduling.
- Schedule appointments according to physician/provider guidelines while achieving Contact Center performance goals.
- Utilize CMC Healthcare systems to enter patient information, answer questions, verify insurance, and perform necessary scheduling tasks.
- Process calls efficiently and collaborate with the team to handle call volumes.
- Demonstrate compassion, respect, and excellent service in all interactions.
- Stay updated on communications and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Support emergency response efforts as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and equipment.

What You'll Bring:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 2-3 years of experience in a healthcare setting with similar responsibilities; familiarity with Allscripts and TalkDesk is a plus.
- Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with patients and staff.
- Proficiency in navigating computer applications and healthcare systems.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure while maintaining professionalism.
- Knowledge of ICD-9 and CPT coding and insurance procedures is desirable.
