What you'll do:
- Independently performing ultrasound examinations as prescribed by a physician while following established procedures, methods, protocols and established guidelines set by the American College of Radiology (ACR).
- Perform ultrasound studies: abdominal, obstetrical, gynecological, neurological and vascular according to established guidelines (ACR).
- Provide sonographic guidance for a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and assist with OR cases.
- Assist in providing training in Diagnostic Ultrasound for Radiologic Technology students, and Radiologic Technologists.
- Assess, respond, and adapt treatment of care to meet the needs of the patients
What you'll bring:
- 1+ years' experience as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer is highly preferred
- Satisfactory completion of formal Ultrasound training program or equivalent experience.
- Registry or Certification from accredited two year Allied Health Program or two years of college with emphasis on the Biological sciences.
- Registered or Registry Eligible, American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
- RVT within one year of hire
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
