Certified Electrophysiology Lab Technologist (Full-Time Days) - EP Lab

Who You Are:

Catholic Medical Center is seeking an individual to assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac arrhythmias. You will perform delegated duties in support of the Electrophysiology Lab.

What You'll Do:

  • Assists nurses with general care of patients and data collection.
  • Transports patients as needed.
  • Puts patients on table and connects them to appropriate equipment for scheduled case. (i.e., R2 Pads, BP cuff, Oxygen tubing, etc.)
  • Prepares and sets up equipment needed for all procedures.
  • Scrubs and assists physician during E.P studies and Ablations.
  • Scrubs and assists physician during Pacemaker and ICD implantations and Laser Lead Extractions.
  • Scrubs and assists physician with Watchman LAA Closure implants.
  • Operates EP Recording system. Operation will include complete understanding of system as related to recording, analysis, documentation, and reporting of all procedures including; EP Med stimulator, Radiofrequency Ablation systems and irrigation pumps.
  • Basic operation and understanding of Phillips X-ray Equipment.
  • Operates and understands analyzers and programmers for pacemakers and ICD's for Medtronic, St. Jude and Boston Scientific.
  • Operates and understands Ensite Mapping System and Carto 3D Mapping System, Rhythmia Mapping system.
  • Assist in ECG and IEGM interpretation.
  • Perform device interrogations and checks during procedures as needed.


What You'll Bring:

  • Associates degree or professional licensure required.
  • 2+ years of healthcare related experience in any of the following: EMT, Paramedic, Respiratory Therapist, ER Techs, Exercise Physiologists, Cardiac Tech, ARRT certified Radiologic Tech.
  • Must have the ability to obtain a RCES/RCIS certification through CCI or Heart Rhythm Society (HRS) within 2 years of hire date unless currently hold an active ARRT certification.
  • NH State licensure for Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy. Required within 30 days of hire if not currently held.
  • State licensure for Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy required.
  • BLS certified. If not BLS certified, must obtain BLS certification prior to completion of orientation, not to exceed 21 days from date of hire with Catholic Medical Center. Must maintain BLS throughout employment.
  • ACLS certified. If not ACLS, certified must have the ability to obtain ACLS certification during orientation period and maintain during employment.
