What You'll Do:
- Assess and treat patients with wounds, ostomies, fistulas, or percutaneous tubes. Document patient understanding of procedures and obtain informed consent.
- Work alongside healthcare providers to gather patient history, perform evaluations, and establish care priorities.
- Perform wound care and ostomy treatments, assist with debridement, administer prescribed medications, and track patient responses to treatments.
- Work with other departments to arrange outpatient and inpatient services, including diagnostic tests and referrals.
- Monitor infection control practices, perform equipment quality control, and ensure patient safety in the center.
What You'll Bring:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- 2-4 years of experience in wound and ostomy care preferred.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Hampshire.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Certification in Wound and Ostomy care (WOCN, CWCN, CSW, OMS, or WCC) within one year of hire.
- Proficiency in assessing and treating wounds and ostomies.
