Who you are:
As the Executive Director Revenue Cycle for Catholic Medical Center (CMC), you will provide the strategy, direction, leadership, customer service and successful service delivery for the revenue cycle function. From performance management initiatives, including quality education and training, reporting and analytics, and operations improvement, you are continuously improving current state processes, identifying and leading revenue cycle best practice opportunities.
What you'll do:
• Provide direct oversight and leadership for CMC's patient access/registration, facility and professional coding, revenue cycle nurse auditors, clinical documentation improvement, denials management, utilization management, and charge master analysis.
• Facilitate process improvement teams to affect change in order to achieve Revenue Cycle best practices and ensure consistency and compliance throughout the healthcare system.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable institutional policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable external regulations
• Ensure reporting and compliance requirements are met
• Provide guidance, communication, and education on correct charge capture, coding, and billing processes to clinical departments and practices to ensure integrity and compliance.
• Catalyst for change and leader in exploring new revenue opportunities, cost efficiencies and productivity optimization. Takes a leadership role in promoting, instituting and teaching Revenue Cycle discipline across all facets of CMC.
What you'll bring:
• 5+ years of healthcare management and leadership experience in a hospital setting and/or hospital consulting, with oversight for a large staff, including extensive healthcare experience related to revenue cycle management.
• Experience with multiple billing and EMR Systems.
• Working knowledge of ICD-9/ICD-10, HCPCS, and CPT coding.
• Understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and third party billing/coding guidelines.
• Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred, with discipline in Healthcare Administration, Management, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• RN licensure is highly preferred
