Who You Are:
Catholic Medical Center is seeking an individual who has experience supervising kitchen staff and performs other special assignments.
What You'll Do:
- Ensures consistent management of staff including, hiring, disciplining, performance appraisal, training, team building and other interventions as necessary.
- Supervises the department. Ensures that all opening and closing procedures are followed and deviations handled.
- Prepares and updates job progressions, orientation checklists and completes step-one forms.
- Conducts staff orientations, training, required education, performance evaluations, in-services and maintains staff files.
- Supervises cafeteria operations including service, appearance, temperature and variety of food.
- Schedules and conducts staff meetings on a monthly basis. Types and circulates meeting minutes to management team.
- Reports weekly maintenance list. Follows up with Facilities Management department via work requisition.
- Reconciles cash drawers, oversees deposit drops, makes change, performs register readings and makes bank runs as necessary. Performs audits of daily reconciliation sheets, petty cash, utilizes change logs and variance logs.
What You'll Bring:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in large institution with supervisory experience preferred.
