Mammography Technologist - Breast Care Center

Who you are:

As a Mammography Technologist at the Breast Care Center for Catholic Medical Center (CMC), you are our greatest asset. You are the subject matter expert in performing all aspects of mammographic examinations for the diagnosis of breast cancer and other diseases of the breast, as well as educating patients to assure early detection. Your calm demeanor is evident in how you communicate with our patients, giving them the best experience.

What you'll do:

  • Perform all mammographic examinations and maintain quality control of all images in accordance with guidelines set by the American College of Radiology, FDA and MQSA.
  • Educate patients in three-step approach to early detection of breast cancer and other breast disorders, and prepare patients for examination. Provide each patient with a verbal explanation of the mammographic procedure, obtain history and offer post-mammographic instructions.
  • Communicate and work closely with Breast Sonographers, Providers, and members of our Interdisciplinary Care Team.
  • Requests previous imaging studies for comparison when needed.
  • Work closely with Physicians to perform biopsies.


What you'll bring:

  • Current registration as an ARRT, RT(R), (M)
  • Currently registered with New Hampshire Board of Medical Technicians
  • Minimum one (1) year in Diagnostic Radiology
  • Two (2) plus years as a registered mammography technologist preferred
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
