Your calm bedside manner is evident in how you communicate with our patients, giving them the best experience, while you maintain a safe MRI environment for patients and visitors.
What you'll do:
- Prepare patients with proper positioning and perform a variety of Magnetic Resonance procedures.
- Perform scan protocols prescribed by radiologist to include proper technique and pulse sequences.
- Start intravenous lines, prepares, calculates appropriate dosage, and/or administers contrast media, i.e., orally and/or intravenously.
- Recognize emergency situations, initiates code procedures, and administer first aid/CPR.
- Utilize sterile techniques to prevent cross contamination to patients and instruments.
- Demonstrates adequate anatomic positioning skills while using immobilization and protective equipment to comply with ACR recommendations and to ensure the safety of patients and staff.
What you'll bring:
- 2+ years' experience as an Imaging Technologist and one year of MRI preferred
- Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
- Current registration with New Hampshire Board of Medical Imaging.
- Registered or registry eligible with ARRT or ARMRIT
- IV Certified or must complete IV certification within 90 days of hire.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
