Nursing Assistant - Heart & Vascular Intervention Unit

Who you are:

As a Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) in the Heart and Vascular Intervention Unit for Catholic Medical Center (CMC), you are an integral member of the unit-based care delivery team, providing the highest quality of compassionate care to our patients and their family members. You are an advocate for your patient and understand your role in maintaining a safe patient environment.

What you'll do:

Under the guidance of the Registered Nurse, you will perform a variety of duties, to include, but not limited to the following:

• Activities of Daily Living

o Bathing

o Changing bed

o Assistance with bathing/showering

o Helping patients get dressed

o Assistance with meal times

• Assisting with Transfers and Ambulation

• Removal of follies and Ivy's

• Prepping patients for cardiac procedures

• Ambulation

What You Will Bring:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Current registration as a Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) in the State of New Hampshire.

• Basic computer keyboarding and data entry skills required.

• BLS certification required; must obtain prior to completion of orientation, not to exceed 21 days from date of hire.

• Must maintain BLS certification throughout employment.
