As a Radiology Technologist (ARRT) for Catholic Medical Center (CMC), you are our greatest asset. You are the subject matter expert in operating our general x-ray diagnostic imaging equipment, and demonstrate proficiency in assessing, responding and adapting treatment of care to meet the needs of the patient population served by the hospital.
What you'll do:
- Perform all routine radiographic procedures and views, including fluoroscopic procedures.
- Provides radiation protection to patient, staff and self-according to prescribed safety standards, while also preparing and/or administering contrast media, i.e., orally, IV, rectally.
- Work closely with Physicians with radiographic procedures and examinations during operative procedures.
- Assist in providing training in Diagnostic Imaging for Radiologic Technology students.
Schedule:
- Fridays and Saturdays Overnights.
What you'll bring:
- 2+ years' experience as an Imaging Technologist preferred.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology, and completion of a twenty-four (24) month clinical internship required.
- Current registration as an ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) must renew certification and /or registration annually with 24 hours of continuing education bi-annually.
- Current license with New Hampshire Board of Medical Imaging & Radiation therapy.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
