Who you are?

The Security Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the premises, personnel, and assets. This role involves monitoring, patrolling, and responding to security-related incidents, enforcing safety protocols, and reporting any violations or concerns. The Security Officer serves as a visible deterrent to crime and ensures a safe environment for employees, visitors, and clients.

What you'll do?

  • Patrolling & Surveillance: Conduct regular patrols (on foot or vehicle) to ensure the security of the premises, prevent unauthorized access, and identify potential risks or hazards.
  • Access Control: Monitor and control access points to ensure only authorized personnel and visitors enter the premises.
  • CCTV Monitoring: Operate and monitor surveillance equipment, including CCTV cameras, to detect suspicious activities or breaches of security.
  • Incident Response: Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, and emergencies (fire, medical, theft, etc.), following established protocols.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and unusual occurrences, preparing detailed reports as necessary.
  • Enforcement: Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and legal requirements, addressing violations and escalating issues as needed.
  • Customer Service: Provide assistance and directions to visitors and staff, ensuring a professional and friendly approach.
  • Emergency Procedures: Familiarize with and assist in implementing emergency evacuation plans and first aid procedures.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with local law enforcement, emergency services, and internal departments when needed.


What you bring?

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous experience in security or law enforcement is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of public safety and security protocols.
  • Proficiency in using security equipment (CCTV, access control systems, etc.).
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure or in emergencies.
  • Must pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Valid security guard license (if required by local laws)
  • Physical stamina and ability to stand or patrol for extended periods.
  • Problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a customer-service-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
