This is a fully benefitted 40 hour position, Monday through Friday.
What You'll Do:
• Verify Kronos time sheet totals, ensuring accurate input of data and configuration in Kronos.
• Take ownership of the Catholic Medical Center payroll process, maintaining accountability and overseeing check requisitions, deductions, and electronic transmissions.
• Assist in processing payroll for affiliated entities, serving as a backup for check requisitions and deductions.
• Ensure compliance with Payroll/Human Resources policies, validating time sheet entries approved by department heads.
• Provide support in understanding payroll calculations and deductions for employees, addressing and correcting issues as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of employee and hospital matters, fostering positive working relationships.
What You'll Bring:
• High school diploma or equivalent (Associates Degree preferred).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in finance with specific knowledge of payroll processing.
• Proficiency in using computer software applications: Kronos and Oracle Payroll systems, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members.
