Who You Are:
Catholic Medical Center is seeking an individual who can be a functional leader of kitchen staff and perform other special assignments.
What You'll Do:
- Ensures consistent oversight of staff by providing direct input into disciplining, training, team building and other interventions as necessary.
- Functionally supervises the department in the absence of a manager or supervisor. Provides direction and training as appropriate.
- Is responsible for ensuring cafeteria operations including service, appearance, temperature and variety of food are as instructed by the manager.
- Completes temperature logs & departmental checklist.
- Reconciles cash drawers, oversees deposit drops, makes change, performs register readings and makes bank runs as necessary.
- Makes schedule changes in an accurate manner and fills out schedule change form.
- Maintains equipment, performs area sanitation & assigns cleaning tasks.
What You'll Bring:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 2 - 3 Years of equivalent experience in large institution. Supervisory experience preferred.
- Days/Evenings as required, weekend rotation, holidays, and availability to cover special functions or events.
