What You'll Do:
- Monitor and document daily humidity gauge readings and maintain accurate records.
- Transport blood products to and from the operating room.
- Review the daily OR schedule to prepare a priority list for the next day.
- Pick supplies and instruments for the next day's surgical schedule.
- Apply knowledge of surgical preference cards and surgeon preferences to support procedures.
- Assist with room turnover functions to ensure efficient transitions.
- Support surgical patient preparation, including assisting with skin prep.
- Maintain sterile technique and prepare sterile fields.
- Respond to emergent needs for additional equipment.
- Provide post-mortem care as needed.
- Participate in the safe moving and transporting of patients.
- Transport case carts to and from the Central Processing Department.
What You'll Bring:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One year of related experience in a hospital setting preferred.
