What You'll Do:
- Manage assigned projects using established project management methodologies, ensuring successful execution from start to finish.
- Document project scope, milestones, tasks, risks, and regularly update project status to stakeholders.
- Develop application functional specifications, data requirements, and assist in creating and analyzing RFPs.
- Oversee and manage large IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required standards.
- Assist in the prioritization of programming, network, and desktop workloads based on project plans and user needs.
- Conduct feasibility studies, cost-benefit analyses, and contribute to the Information Systems Strategic Plan.
- Lead system optimization efforts and provide recommendations to improve the use of existing systems.
- Serve as a liaison to Department Directors to assess IS needs and foster effective communication between stakeholders.
- Mentor and guide Application Analysts in project management and system analysis best practices.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hospital systems, healthcare industry trends, and emerging information technologies.
- Manage vendor relationships and assist with contract development and negotiations.
- Monitor and improve information system customer satisfaction, making recommendations for enhancements as needed.
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, Healthcare, or a related field.
- PMP Certification preferred; CAPM or Project+ Certification required within 12 months of hire.
- Experience supporting healthcare hardware/software implementations and upgrades. Demonstrated ability to independently manage projects, from planning through to execution, while integrating activities across multiple functional areas.
- Strong project management skills with a focus on time, cost, quality, and customer requirements. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
