As a Radiology Aide, you are a dedicated and compassionate individual committed to supporting the delivery of excellent patient care within the Radiology department. What you'll do:
- Work closely with technologists to ensure the efficient and timely completion of patient procedures.
- Safely transport patients between various departments, confirming identities and addressing patient needs during the process.
- Ensure patients are appropriately gowned and prepared before entering the exam room, maintaining their comfort and safety.
- Complete and maintain accurate documentation, respecting patient confidentiality and adhering to department policies. Implement additional screening processes to ensure patient safety and adhere to infection control guidelines.
- Equipment and Supply Management: Process requests to deliver necessary equipment, supplies, or documentation, contributing to the smooth operation of patient procedures.
- Establish positive teamwork and working relationships with colleagues, physicians, and the public, contributing to a collaborative work environment.
Work Schedule:
- Monday - Friday 8:00 - 4:30 no weekends, no holidays
What you bring:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with colleagues, patients, and physicians.
- One year of healthcare or customer service experience preferred, showcasing your commitment to providing excellent service.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Phlebotomy proficiency within 6 months of hire.
