What You'll Do:
- Manage front desk operations, including greeting and registering patients.
- Process daily charge tickets and maintain provider schedules.
- Verify patient information, including demographics and insurance status.
- Handle incoming calls, take messages, and address patient inquiries.
- Document interactions accurately in patient charts and assist with referrals.
- Collect payments and support patient discharge procedures.
- Organize and maintain patient records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Assist in training new employees on office functions and best practices.
What You'll Bring:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2-3 years of experience in a healthcare setting with clerical and administrative responsibilities.
- Strong multitasking and prioritization abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients and staff.
- Familiarity with medical billing, coding (ICD-9, CPT), and insurance procedures.
- Proficiency in computer operations and basic math skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
